Workplace Risk Reduction

Our nurses work side by side with organizational leaders to identify and mitigate safety hazzards and implement plans to prevent injury.  This includes:

  • Surveillence programs
    • Spirometry, audiometry, fit testing
  • Ergonomic assessments
  • Stretch and strengthening programs
  • Post offer physical assessments

 regulatory compliance

We work closely with employers to ensure compliance with OSHA,FMLA, and HIPPA regulations.   Some examples of our role are:

  • Medical Case Management
  • Referrals to appropriate level of care for workplace injuries
  • Return to work physical assessments
  • Oversight of First Responders
  • Administration of required vaccinations
  • Drug Testing

Health promotion and Disease prevention

We design programs that promote individual lifestyle changes and reduce risk of disease.We do this by establishing partnerships, developing trust, and creating a safe space for growth.  Examples of this include:

  • Creating structured wellness committees
  • Personalized and group health coaching
  • Lunch and Learn presentations
  • Biometric screenings with individualized follow up
  • Utilization review with structured wellness programing aimed at reducing insurance costs through health promotion

Counseling and crisis intervention

Our nurses not only council employees about work related illnesses and injuries, we also assist with issues such as depression, anxiety, substance abuse, work/life balance.  Trained in theraputic communication we are able to coordinate care as needed including:

  • Referrals to EAP
  • Assisting with finding counselors
  • Offering meditation and mindfulness practices
  • Narcan training for companies
